Our host, William was very timely and responsive, both before and during our stay. Overall the house was fantastic! We really appreciated the fully enclosed front and back yard for our two standard poodles. The game room was a lot of fun, though we didn’t make use of the shuffleboard as it was missing pieces; William offered to send replacement pieces but we had plenty of things to keep us busy. I really enjoyed the arcade table. All of the rooms were comfortable but the yard was the biggest selling point. We’d love to come back when we can make more use of it: the pool, the fire pit, everything. The wagon was really neat, even though no one stayed in it. It is a nice perk that it has heating and cooling. The kitchen was decently appointed…sufficient standard things like knives, utensils, plates, etc. It could use some larger serving dishes, wood spoons, spatulas, and a couple of more frying pans (lots of pots but it was odd to only have one frying pan). I appreciated the countertop ice maker and a new Keurig coffee machine that showed up during our stay.

I would say the one and only issue was the hot tub was not hot enough. Not a huge issue overall.

After a four previous trips to Joshua Tree, camping, my old friends and I finally went for a house in town. We loved the quick access to one of the main park entrances as well as some new to us access points. The house theme is interesting but it was the amenities that really drew us in. I especially liked the open floor plan as well as just hanging out under the cool trees on the property. My friends made good use of the hot tub, pool and especially the ping pong table. Two of the guys have expressed interest in booking the house for their respective families and someone I know is interested on my recommendation. Oh, and the price really was reasonable. We will be back.

Excellent property and stay! Attention to the finest detail is evident on this property, down to the beautiful outdoor lighting, lanterns provided for the outdoor coffee tables, floats for the pool, bathrobes for each guest, a countertop ice maker for large groups…just everything you can think you might want for a high end, modern experience, he had it! The arcade, hot tub, heated pool, and Conestoga wagon were the highlights of our stay. We could have stayed for longer - wish we did! Close to JTNP, which is why we were in town. Excellent rental, we hope to be back!
